Do imagine:
- Hunters with so many stripes that from afar, they just look like a red blob
- Other Guardians being wary of these Hunters, seeing them as bad-luck charms and refusing to let them in their fireteams
- Hunters with no stripes at all, because they swore to never be put in a situation where a stripe is possible
- Hunters refusing to respect the tradition, because “They’re not dead, dammit”
- Seeing a freshly-rezzed Hunter off to their first fireteam mission, then finding them in the Tower days later with a red streak on their forehead
Do not imagine:
- Shin Malphur with a permanent vermilion stripe on his shoulder, the same spot that Jaren used to squeeze as a sign of approval
- Cayde-6 having two vermilion stripes hidden on his body: one for Andal, and one for Tevis
- Eris in the Pit, using her own blood as paint for the stripe
- Lady Efrideet, wearing a cloak made bright red by hundreds of vermilion stripes: one for each Iron Lord that fell during the siege on SIVA
Compilation of my Surreal Tigers over the last year(s) :) This was a fun sketch subject to work on, but I’m moving on to other things now and probably won’t be adding to these guys anymore.
